Propolis is a natural resinous substance produced by honey bees (Appis melifera) from plant extracts mixed with saliva, pollen and wax. It is a critical substance for the survival of bees, as it protects the hive against microorganisms and promotes temperature maintenance.

Brazilian Green Propolis has botanical origins from Rosemary-of-the-field (Baccharis dracunculifolia), found mainly in the region of Minas Gerais/Brazil. Unlike other types of existing propolis, Green Propolis is rich in Artepelin C, a phenolic compound with important anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antitumor actions. As it is a rare species of propolis, it is studied all over the world and coveted by several countries such as Japan, South Korea and the United States.
